Pear on Pastelmat


This one is on 7 x 9 Pastelmat.  Fist time using this paper.  Just amazing stuff!  I was sure it would never hold the pastels, but it really does and lots of layers too!

I don't know very much of pastels, so it is not surprising that I had never heard of Pastelmat until now.

I like the textures you achieved especially in the background.
