What is it about pears that make them so much fun to paint???
These are all pastels, about 4" x 6". The first 3 are on Colourfix paper and the last one is on regular old sand paper. I'm really enjoying how the colors layer and blend.
Deb, these are great pears. They can exhibit such variation that makes them fun to do. Only one problem with pastels--they get messy some times, but I think that's kind of the fun of it--a lot of hand and finger work.

I agree, pears are so much fun to paint and you did a wonderful job. I think that the third and fourth are my favorite.
