VBS 2009

I haven't been painting much at all lately...at least not fine art. I've been very involved in preparing for VBS at my church. We're doing Group's Crocodile Dock and here's some pics of the set that we finished yesterday. My friend Sarah and I work out all the design. I do much of the painting and delegate lots too. We have 119 kids registered, which is huge for our tiny little church. I think only 7 of the kids are from our church! Quite an outreach.

Fantastic! How wonderful for the VBS children to have such a setting! Congratulations on a job well done. I just found your blog and assume your Bible School was a huge success and that you, the children and your church were richly blessed.

I love doing the set design and the kids are always wowed! I love looking at their expressions when they first come into the sanctuary! Already planning for next year's High Sea Expedition!!! We'll be doing an old ship deck. Been looking at old whaling ships! This is a sickness I think! LOL!
