Peep Surgery

Easter's almost here and while it is a spiritual holiday for me, I still love peeps.... stale ones. I usually open the package and let them sit for a day before I eat them.

Had a good weekend painting. Got lots in the works in various stages. Finally finished one. LOL!



This one is 11"x14" claybord. It's another mixed media using acrylic inks, fluid acrylics, tissue paper and gel medium.

Forest on Fire

It feels like forever since I last posted! I've been in a really busy mode at work and church. I'm finally finishing up several paintings that I've started. This one is 12" x 12" on clayboard. It's mixed media using acrylic inks, fluid acrylics, tissue paper, and acrylic mediums. Here's a close up so you can see the colors in the darker areas. I did a smaller one like this that I gave away, not realizing it was one of my husband's favorites. I promised Gil I'd do one for him. Here it is honey!!!
