This first little landscape was done using a painting by Nusret Topuzoglu as a reference. He graciously gave me permission to use it. Just love his work! Check out his site.

I like your work very much! it has a quality that is light and free. I also lost my best buddy some years back and I still miss him very much. He was all black and beautiful. Many people do not understand our love for our animals. They are missing out on so much love and joy. So again I really like your work. Keep it up. I dabble a bit and you inspired me. Thank you, Patricia

Patricia, thanks so much for posting your comment. I still miss my Annie so much. She was such a huge part of my life for so long. But the kitten have really helped. Matter of fact, just this morning, I was loving them up and telling them how much they've helped me through this time. I love how God has given me just want I needed....and a double dose at that! LOL!

I'm really glad you like my work. I'm so new to it all and it's kind of scary having it out there for everyone to see. I appreciate your encouragement! Since you dabble, you might be interested in joining us at PaintingFriends.com. We're a nice, no pressure group who are having such fun experimenting and painting together. We have demos and paint-alongs and some really nice people. We'd love to meet you!
